Crazy does not begin to describe the number of things that need to get done. But crazy does describe me. Who allowed it to get like this? Now I’m caught up in a typical falling dominoes scenario.
It all started with one thing, and then before I knew it my plate was looking like that of a greedy tourist at dinner at one of Jamaica’s all inclusive resorts. No antacids can cure the after effects of the disaster! And not even my Blog gets any attention, imagine if there was a husband in the house?
So thanks for the notes from you who know that when I don’t write I am ‘underwater’. Its been a challenging start to the New year and I have to admit this schedule has gotten out of hand.
In the meantime, I’m getting ready to head out to Boquete, Panama. yes the same Boquete that was affected by the November flood rains last year. It will be time for the Panama Baptist Convention Annual Meeting.I hope there won’t be any bus drama’s like my last trip to Bocas.
I hear it is very cold and I’ll need blanket, woolly woolies, and thick jacket. Lovely. Weird I know but I love the cold. I get cold very easily and love to pack on a lot of clothes to keep warm. But I prefer the cold to the heat. I did say I was weird.
And then after I get back from the Convention, I’ll barely have time to unpack before I have to repack to head out to the Jamaica Baptist Union’s General Assembly 2009. This year the week of events will take place at the Jamaica Grande Resort in Ochio Rios, Jamaica (what did I just tell you about some greedy tourists and all-inclusives. Aaaaiii). The national service will take place as usual at the National Arena in Kingston. See some of you there.
And then I come back and hopefully catch my breath before Easter comes around. Soon I’ll announce some changes at Marvia’s Panama Journal (MPJ) as well. So look out for that. Before the weekend finishes, I hope to update you on the James Bond Bible studies we’ve been having. They have been so much fun and yet deeply meaningful. Love it.
So until then, keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
Marvia

Well i cant help yuh wid yuh full plate but just here to say your not the only one who likes the cold. I prefer the cold to the heat. Then again i’ve never experienced snow….
Anywayz i wish you a big appetite so you clean yuh plate
Thanks Derri,
But thanks for keeping it real, the plate isn’t going anywhere so I might as well take bite sized pieces until I’m done.
Aaai sah. The wonders of prayer eeh. I am praying that the plate just disappear while you are praying for a bigger appetite!
Looking forward to Boquete but can’t help wondering if there’s hot water. We humans are so perverse I tell you.
Later.
