Radio Ministry – "The Hour of Light"

Program Relaunch
We have been receiving a lot of positive feedback on the relaunched Radio Ministry of the church. The Radio Broadcast “The Hour of Light” is aired every Tuesday 7-8pm on Manna 96.1FM. The program was off air for several months while undergoing changes (more like surgery:-). Finally, we were back on air Tuesday October 3, 2006.

Live On The Internet
It was quite a wonderful surprise that first night we were on to receive calls from several members of the church who now reside in USA. They were regular listeners to MannaFM (via the Internet) which offers Christian radio programs. They did not know we were going to be on, and so it caught them by surprise.

You too can find us at MannaFm 96.1 Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm as previously mentioned.

Ministry Opportunity
I have not missed the fact that here we have an excellent radio ministry opportunity with the program being available on the web. This was what we had in mind to eventually do when we have completed setting up our website. So we are thankful to God, that already we are reaching Panamanian Christians who are now abroad, and especially members of First Isthmian who no longer live in Panama.

These members are able to send live greetings to relatives, friends and members of the church they have not been in contact with for years. They are also able to maintain a live link with their home church.

The program is bi-lingual and the English speaking persons in Colon City and its environs find this to be a tremendous blessing. Moreover, many persons use this as a means of learning English.

So share in our Radio Ministry, every Tuesday 7-8pm on MannaFM. Although we have started out small, the possibilities are endless and we continue to find ways to improve the skills of all who are involved in its production.

Peace,
Marvia
