3 Must See Videos Of 1989 USA Invasion of Panama
The 1989 Invasion of Panama contained many mysteries for me. I recall watching the horrors broadcast on TV. Years later living in Panama, it soon became apparent that what I heard in the US news of the invasion did not even begin to capture a good representation of what really happened in Panama.
It is of interest to me, because it is part of the reality of the community I serve in. Moreover, you cannot live here and remain unaware of the continued impact of this event on the people – especially the poor of Colon. To not know or even care is the luxury of only the most socially
unconscious.
I found these videos of the Oscar winning documentary ‘The Panama Deception.’ I immediately thought of several of you who would be interested in seeing this film. I know some of you have already seen them.

Dear Marvia,
I am a pakistani and teaching int.relations and have breifly studied panama invasion and its legal status while i was studying in australia. However, the way things are moving here in pak and the us involvement specially the CIA, FBI and so called US army contractor, i see lot of similar script though on a very different theme, plus the way US took ten years or so to build a case or make believe that Iraq is a threat rings bells in my mind. Not that i supported Saddam. In short i was thinking to do some research on Panama invassion and fortunately your site is the first one i hit. I am writing this before the movie so that my original thoughts are not influenced by the movie.
Thanks for sharing and would love to discuss more on this issue if you are interested and have time to share your experiences and opinion.
