Panama Chupacabras: Re-Opened X-Files Story?
Panama’s Chupacabras are legendary. I’m just discovering the extent of their notoriety. Over a year ago when I moved into this house, the scurrying in the roof convinced me I had rat bat residents. Nearly 2 years later, I am yet to see one of these rat bats.
I haven’t seen any rats either. But I have seen birds. Do birds scurry in the night, like a midnight football match? One of my smarty-pants members told me it was Chupacabras. I laughed at the time, and thought that was such a cute name for rat bats. Because silly me believed him when he said it was something like a rat bat.
Something like is not even close!
Vampires and Aliens
A Chupacabra is a thing that sucks blood at night. It behaves like a vampire and descriptions range from a cross between a lizard, a dog and kangaroo.
My members say the [tag-tec]Chupacabras[/tag-tec] story is just like Jamaican ‘Duppy Story’. Nothing but legends. Are they? They strongly maintain that it is foolishness that always emerge around Carnival time. Hmmm..
Strange creatures like these are viewed by some Christians as demonic. Not all Christians believe in an entity called a ‘demon.’ While sections of the church accept the existence of demonic presence, based on biblical evidence especially in the Gospel of Mark. Others dismiss such activity as nonsense. They believe that such things no longer exist in today’s sophisticated and technologically advanced world.
Do you agree?
Chupacabras Sightings In Chiriqui Panama
Reporter David Bell decided to put his name on the line in the recent January-February issue of The Visitor. Bell’s story cites reports from eye witnesses in Chiriqui Province who have either seen Chupacabras or lost their animals last July 2007. In earlier times, Panama’s Chupacabras used to suck the blood of goats. Now they are feasting on sheep and chicken.
Two farmers confirmed their loss of sheep and one woman lost 10 chickens. The dead animals all bore the telltale small round holes in their necks. One guard described what he saw as having a wing span of about 6 feet.
I had no idea they were so popular. But [tag-ice]Chupacabras[/tag-ice] are big online. The internet is full of stories of sightings in places such as Texas, Australia, Nicaragua and here in Panama.
Bell claims that there seems to be some official denial taking place in Panama. He further claims that government officials took samples of blood and hair from the scenes of the animal slayings, but have not released any reports of their findings.
Chupacrabras Story An X-Files Story?
Take a look at this chupacabra video and tell me what you think.
So? Tell me what you saw in the video…
Until,
