The questions and conversation are all the same, ‘What will Barack Obama’s victory mean for the rest of the world’? And people seriously believe it matters. Others even believe it might mean good for their country. Panamanians are asking that question too.
Those sentiments are circulating in the Caribbean, songs are being made and if Barack Obama wins there will be celebration. I hear fear in the voice of some persons here in Panama. They fear for his life. What a sobering thought.
Anyway, I just had to share a bit of what the eye caught in Bocas. Much much more to come.
